If you use a Gmail account and y'all enable 2FA so please brand sure you enable "allow less secure access" & generate an app password:

You don't need to disable 2FA on your GMAIL account. If yous use a Gmail account and you enable 2FA and so delight make sure you enable "permit less secure access" & don't forget to generate an app password.
The video I mentioned to a higher place shows how to practise it.

Thank you, yes I have already generated an app password for "Other>Outlook". I set up my Gmail account in Outlook using that password. Which worked. And after I airtight Outlook then reopened it Outlook required me to grant access Once more. I tried using the app password once again (which I shouldn't have to) but it failed to work and the countersign message stated that I demand to use my Google password. Which worked, only until the side by side time I started Outlook. And then EVERY TIME I showtime Outlook I need to get through the whole 2FA procedure! Of course later that I just deleted the gmail account.
So I am very displeased with the fact that Gmail doesn't work with Outlook.

To summarize things you need to bank check:
- Enable "allow less secure access".
- Generate an app password
- Enable IMAP access on the Gmail website.
- Wait for security warnings request you to verify it was you connecting.
Have you enabled IMAP admission on the Gmail website? Right?

Thanks for that caption, it's very good.
But I take no idea what you mean by 'Enable "allow less secure access".' That is not an pick in the security settings in my Google account.
Other than that, what yous describe is exactly what I did. I have now prepare upwards a new profile equally you lot suggested. But when I try to ready upwardly the Google business relationship, and enter the app password which I generated, I just get "Try once again with your Google Account password". If I exercise that I'm back to where I started.

Yep 2FA is turned on and the app countersign I merely generated is showing (i password)

Please follow the steps to run MS Outlook app in safe mode:
- Please press the Windows key + R key on your keyboard.
- Then blazon in the following control: outlook /safe
